The year 2016 was a successful one for The Rabbiter - the company was invited to join "Upwork Enterprise" and, of course, we accepted! Upwork Enterprise is an end-to-end freelancer sourcing and engagement system created by Upwork, the largest freelancing platform in the world. Upwork Enterpise provides talent sourcing and engagement solutions for larger companies. These clients have teams of hiring managers and hundreds of active projects. From fast-growing startups to Fortune Global 500 companies, Upwork Enterprise streamlines sourcing, engaging, and paying contractors so clients can hire quickly and easily at scale.
The Rabbiter's first Upwork Enterprise client was Ethicon, a company part of the pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson, listed among the Fortune 500. Johnson & Johnson is now the biggest client that The Rabbiter has ever worked for, dethroning Fila which, back in 2014, engaged The Rabbiter to name a new collection of running, basketball, training, fitness, and casual footwear. Happy New Year to all our clients, past or current, big or small! We are not a cocktail blog but we invented a new drink and it has a nice name so we thought it is worth sharing. It is called Nescotch and it is a compound name between NESCAFÉ® and scotch. This is how you do it:
Nescotch Glassware: A coffee mug or a big cup. You will need: 1. NESCAFÉ® Classic Instant coffee 2. Johnnie Walker® Black Label Scotch Whisky 3. Lindt Excellence Orange Intense Dark Chocolate Method: 1. Add 2 teaspoons of NESCAFÉ® Classic in a coffee mug. 2. Add 1 teaspoon of sweet honey. 3. Add 50ml of milk. 4. Fill the cup up with boiling water. 5. Pour 5ml of Johnnie Walker® Black Label Scotch Whisky and stir. 6. Serve with a piece of Lindt Excellence Orange Intense Dark Chocolate. Enjoy and be welcome to post your feedback on the drink’s recipe… or, you know, on its name. This year, we are advertising in Google Adwords with a brand new video starring our best names created over the years. Check it out here: Today, we have a birthday! Exactly 5 years ago The Rabbiter was launched with the ambition to become the best freelance naming agency in the world. To celebrate our birthday, we created an infographic with some interesting information about our business experience in the last 5 years:
The Rabbiter started the year with a new advertising – part of the long-term campaign “The Rabbiter is here to help”. The main communication channel will be Google Adwords. As always, the ad is created by us and relies on humour. We hope that it will make you smile.
You can see all the ads from the campaign below: Inspired by the Brand Identity Model designed by Brand Strategy Insider (our favourite blog), we have decided to describe our brand identity (find it below). Have you thought about your brand identity? Maybe now is the moment to identify yourself?
As a freelance company we have decided to support the freelance society by creating a Facebook page. We named the page Freelancer Help. Freelancer Help is a place where future and actual freelancers can learn more about freelancing. The Facebook page will provide breaking news, tips, links to articles and freelance jokes. For example, our breaking news for today is the announcement of Elance regarding the update of connects to membership plans. That is wonderful news for everyone working through their freelance platform.
We believe that this is the perfect moment to start this page, now that 2013 is expected to be the Year of the Freelancer as Elance predicts that companies will hire twice as many freelancers. This probably means that we can expect that more people will become freelancers in the next 12 months. Freelancer Help would be a small support to them and it is just a “like” away: www.facebook.com/freelancerhelp. After the successful internet campaign last year, The Rabbiter organizes a new campaign with a new ad (see above). The advertising starts on Facebook, Twitter and Google Adwords from today.
Just like the previous campaign we are using smart humour in the ad. The concept, the design and the content of the ad are all created by The Rabbiter. The Rabbiter’s inspirational story is among the winners in the competition organized by Elance for the International Freelancers Day. The prize we won is a $100 Amazon Gift Certificate.
The entire story can be read here. The full list of winners is available at https://www.elance.com/q/blog/envelope-please-announcing-our-contest-winners |
